Driving Directions
The town of Appomattox is located in the heart of Virginia along the US Route 460 corridor; We are approximately 21 miles EAST of Lynchburg and about 100 miles WEST of Richmond.
From Lynchburg
- Traveling EAST from Lynchburg on US 460
- Take the first Appomattox Exit (Bent Creek/Appomattox);
- At the top of the exit ramp,
- Take a RIGHT onto Oakville Rd. (Business 460 East);
- Oakville Rd. becomes Confederate Blvd. at the first traffic light;
- Continue straight on Business 460 / Confederate Blvd.;
- After the third traffic light,
- Continue just past Appomattox Middle School on your RIGHT;
- The next street is Oakleigh Av.,
- Take a RIGHT onto Oakleigh Av. (Look for our sign)
- The Presbyterian Church is located just behind the Middle School.
- Our building is visible from the intersection of Confederate Blvd. and Oakleigh Av.
- FROM THE APPOMATTOX EXIT TO THE CORNER OF CONFEDERATE & OAKLEIGH, IT'S ONLY 1 MILE
From Richmond / Farmville
- Travelling WEST from the Richmond / Farmville area on US 460
- Take the first Appomattox Exit (460 Business);
- 460 Business is Confederate Blvd.;
- Take the fourth (4th) LEFT onto Oakleigh Av., Look for our sign!
- Our Church is located just behind Appomattox Middle School.
- FROM THE EXIT TO THE CORNER OF CONFEDERATE & OAKLEIGH, IT'S ONLY 1 MILE
